My Sunday routine!
Ive just spent a really satisfying hour and a half pottering around in the Sunday morning drizzle! I got a lot done too- completed digging over my larger beds- they were manured late last autumn. The frost and snow has done a good job breaking up the bigger pieces. I did gave the lawn its first mow last week.
I did a bit of tittivating too- picked up fallen leaves and bits and pieces and did a general tidy-the time just eased by.
I love these quiet times in the garden on Sunday mornings before the world has had its cornflakes.
Now that Im done, Im sitting in the dining room watching robins looking for fresh grubs in the freshly dug earth. Its stopped drizzling too!
At this moment, life is good; Sunday paper, drinking Kenyan coffee and listening to The Archers Omnibus: - Tony Archer had a heart attack beacuse of his godawful son Tony! Id have given him what for!
Im going to do lunch for the family in a bit. But for now- Im relaxed and satisfied!
